Our Team

Ed Bennison
DirectorEngineerFounder
Edward Bennison is a renewable energy engineering professional with extensive experience designing complex solar, battery energy storage, EV charging, and grid connection projects. He works closely with clients to support practical focused engineering solutions in the industry.

Rohan Taylor
DirectorEngineerFounder
Rohan is a qualified engineer with over 10 years of experience in the solar and battery energy storage industry, specialising in the technical design and delivery of commercial and industrial renewable energy projects. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary engineering teams across a range of roles, supporting projects from feasibility and grid connection through to construction and commissioning. In 2022, he co-founded Arigo Consulting with Ed, establishing a specialist engineering firm focused on delivering high-quality technical solutions for the renewable energy sector.

Reagan Ibbotson
DirectorDeveloperFounder
Reagan is a software engineer with a background building highly regulated, data-intensive applications, the kind where accuracy, auditability and compliance can't be an afterthought. That rigour shapes everything behind Grid Pass, giving solar retailers a platform they can trust to manage and track their work with confidence.

Why we built
Grid Pass, and
Why now?
After ten years of submitting grid applications we built Grid Pass to reduce the amount of admin and time spent on applications.
As engineers we saw this as a common problem for many solar retailers struggling to manage applications across all 16 networks.

Ed & Rohan
Grid Pass comes from Arigo, Ed and Rohan's engineering consultancy in Melbourne. Arigo engineers, designs and delivers commercial solar and battery projects, and handles complex grid applications for networks across the country.

-
Late Night Admin
We're engineers, and after enough hours submitting our own jobs and logging into portals late at night, we built Grid Pass.
-
Too Many Network Logins
Every network asks for the same job in a different way. We handle those differences, so the frustration never reaches you.
-
Drained After Long Days
We know you're drained by the end of the work day, and admin is the last thing you want.
-
It's Our Expertise
As engineers we love the technical detail, compliance and regulation. We ensure that applications are submitted right the first time.
